Reading teaching holds an important position in College English teaching.The application of mind maps in English reading teaching can not only stimulate students’reading interests,but also help students effectively understand the context of the text and form a complete knowledge system.The advantages of mind maps for English reading learning is discussed based on the relevant theories of mind maps in the paper,in order to offer effective suggestion to improve the efficiency of English reading teaching and learning.
