Discourse-Historical Approach proposed by Ruth Wodak is one of the main streams of critical discourse analysis.Upon its coming into being,the approach has brought about a particular perspective to the study of critical discourse analysis.Recently,the exploration of interdisciplinary researches in the realm of social sciences has been able to develop in a prosperous direction for academic innovation and improvement.It can be worth noticing for scholars to make interdisciplinary researches that combine the discipline of critical discourse analysis with other social sciences.In light of the characteristics of Discourse-Historical Approach,the possibility of the application of the approach in interdisciplinary researches is discussed by examples in the paper.
