试论新工科背景下大学英语教育中的思辨能力研究与创新人才培养

在新工科背景下,"一带一路"倡议以及"中国文化走出去"的战略布局同社会的迅速发展对具备出色外语能力、思辨能力、跨文化交际能力的国际创新型人才的需求激增。传统的大学英语教学模式强调对语言知识和技能的灌输,注重外语的工具性。文章提出当前的大学英语要向培养学生思辨能力为导向的教育转型,改革教学方法和测试模式,选择具有思辨能力培养理念的教材,将思辨能力培养融入大学英语课程体系当中。

Under the background of new engineering education,the initiative of"One Belt and One Road"and strategic layout of"Chinese culture going out"are increasingly demanding innovative talents with excellent English,critical thinking and cross-cultural communication ability.The traditional college English teaching emphasizes the indoctrination of language knowledge and skills,and pays attention to the instrumental nature of foreign language.This paper puts forward that the transformation of college English education should focus on the cultivation of students’critical thinking skill,in which the reform of teaching methods and test modes is necessary.Meanwhile,the selection of teaching materials with the concept of critical thinking training has to be taken into consideration in the process of integration the critical thinking training into the college English curriculum system.
