医学英语词汇学习策略调查及教学建议

医学英语作为专业英语已成为提高医学专业学生综合素质的一门重要公共基础课。在学习医学英语的过程中,词汇一直是重点和难点。文章从医学英语词汇的来源、特征和构成分析了医学英语词汇的特点,结合昆明医科大学海源学院679名已修完医学英语课程的在校生进行的医学英语词汇学习策略的问卷调查,提出了相应的教学建议。

Medical English as an English for Specific Purposes( ESP) has become an important public fundamental course to improve the comprehensive quality of medical students. Vocabulary learning has always been the key and difficult part in the process of medical English learning. This article analyses the features of medical English words in terms of its origin,characters and constituents. Through the study of the questionnaire on medical English vocabulary learning strategies for679 students who had been accomplished medical English course from Kunming Medical University Haiyuan College,the paper also puts forward some suggestions on medical English vocabulary teaching.
