摘要
高校大学英语教学中侧重词汇语法和阅读教学,忽略了英语文化学习,导致学生无法培养跨文化交际能力,无法适应全球化背景下的社会发展需求。《英语国家文化概况》课程引入大学英语教学是顺应时代发展要求的,旨在培养知识、能力和素养全面发展的复合型人才。通过构建以多媒体为辅助的任务型教学模式,文章提出了多种教学模式优化改革的具体方案,对该课程的教学提供了可借鉴的实施方法,具有较强的现实指导意义。
The traditional college English courses focused much on the teaching of vocabulary,grammar and reading,but ignored the culture in English-speaking countries.As a result,students could not develop the ability of cross-cultural communication and hardly adapt to the social demands in the background of internationalization.A Guide to the Culture of English-Speaking Countries is a course which aims to follow the lead and cultivate students’comprehensive competence in knowledge,capability,and attainments.This paper establishes an optimized pedagogical mode assisted by multimedia accesses,providing the readers with a variety of teaching schemes which is helpful and significant to the similar culture-oriented courses in colleges.
