摘要
抽象名词词义在语篇中的准确把握,既是理解输入性文本的难点,也是任务式输出的关键。词汇概念与认知模型理论(Theory of Lexical Concepts and Cognitive Models)把语义建构的过程外显化,能够形象地展示语义在语篇中的变化。文章基于该理论阐释了抽象名词在语篇语境中的语义建构过程及翻译策略,从而达到翻译的灵活性和创新性。
Grasp of the lexical meaning of Abstract Nouns has always been the most difficult part in English learning.The theory of Lexical Concepts and Cognitive Models(LCCM)externalizes the dynamic process of meaning construction,which vividly displays how the protean meaning of words can be caught in specific context.This paper proves that application of LCCM can integrate both the discourse context and the subjective experience into the meaning construction of abstract nouns,as a result to enhance the flexibility and novelty of translation.
