影视文本翻译的译后编辑实践分析——以国产仙侠剧香蜜的经典台词为例

随着国产影视业的发展,越来越多的国产电视剧走向国外,因此出现了很多翻译文本。很多时候,译者们为了提高效率和速度,利用翻译工具来完成电视剧中的字幕翻译。但由于单纯的机器翻译本身就存在很多不足,导致电视剧的字幕翻译出现了极大的偏差,给国外观众对剧情的理解造成了很大的障碍。文章作者有幸在19年6月份参与了国产古装仙侠剧《香蜜沉沉烬如霜》的字幕翻译,通过此次的翻译实践,作者分析了机器翻译过程会出现的一些问题,由此归纳出了影视文本翻译的译后编辑所需注意的一些因素,以此为今后的影视翻译文本提供参考与借鉴。

With the development of the domestic film and television industry,a large number of domestic TV dramas have spread abroad,so there are countless translated texts about the popular TV series.In many cases,translators complete the subtitles translation in TV dramas by translation tools to improve efficiency and speed.However,due to the obvious shortcomings of pure machine translation itself,great deviation in the subtitle translation of TV dramas are caused which brings great misunderstandings for foreign audiences watching it.The author of this article was fortunate to participate in the translation of the subtitles with Ash-like Frost—a domestic ancient costume drama in June 2019.Through this translation practice,the author analyzes some problems that will occur in the machine translation process,and thus summarizes some working principle the post-translation editors of the film and television text translation need to pay attention to.The paper will provide some key suggestions to the practice and improvement of the future film and television translation texts.
