The names of paraphernalia used by the ceremonial guards written on the bottom of each figurines of ceremonial guards from the mausoleum of Prince Qinjian are the only found among the discoveries of the Princes'figurines of ceremonial guards in Ming Dynasty, which contain much potential and value for further research.Based on the complete analysis of the material,it could be suggested that the figurines basically matched the requirement of ceremonial guards for a prince in the Ming Dynasty.Compared with the the similar discoveries of figurines from Early Ming Dynasty,it could be inferred that instead of held significant political power, the Princes in Middle and Late Ming Dynasty were ruled strictly and effectively by the emperor.
