摘要
大学英语教育是我国高等教育的重要组成部分,在人才培养方面具有不可替代的重要作用。大学英语课程具有学时长、跨度大和覆盖广的特点,不仅是一门语言基础课程,也应成为学生开阔视野、陶冶情操、了解中外文化的素质教育课程,兼具工具性和人文性的双重属性。通过大学英语的学习使大学生获得文化自信,是大学英语课程重要的思政功能。本文通过阐述大学英语的课程特点和大学英语教学过程中“课程思政”功能的实现路径,指出大学英语教学和思想政治理论课可以同向同行,形成协同效应。
College English education is an important part of higher education in China and plays an irreplaceable role in the cultivation of talents.College English curriculum has the characteristics of long school hours,wide span and full coverage.College English curriculum shares dual attributes of“instrument”and“humanity”.It is not only a basic language course,but a cultural transmission course,which helps to broaden students’horizons and nourish the souls of the students.College students could obtain cultural confidence through acquiring college English.Therefore,college English curriculum has become a crucial front of constructing ideological and political education.The characteristics of college English curriculum and the path of realization of curriculum ideology and politics are fully elaborated,which further prove that the college English teaching can get along well with ideological and political education.
