数字经济是否抑制了农业碳排放——基于中国城市层面的经验证据

Does the Digital Economy Suppress Agricultural Carbon Emissions?——Based on empirical data at the urban level in China

文章基于2011-2020年全国285个地级市数据,采用双重固定效应模型研究数字经济发展是否抑制农业碳排放。研究结果表明:(1)数字经济可以驱动农业产业向绿色化方向发展,抑制农业碳排放。(2)数字经济可以通过促进农业技术创新水平的提高,进一步使得农业向现代化发展,达到农业碳排放减少的目标。(3)数字经济高速发展可以促进人力资本水平提高,进而抑制农业碳排放。因此,数字经济作为新兴关键生产要素,应加快推进农业与数字经济的融合,走低碳农业发展道路。其次,要着力培养具有农业产业发展和数字技术要求的复合型人才。最后,推广农业节能环保技术,树立农户低碳农业意识,从源头控制农业碳排放。

Based on the data of 285 prefecture-level cities in China from 2011 to 2020,this article uses a dual fixed effect model to study whether the development of the digital economy inhibits agricultural carbon emissions.The research results show that:(1)The digital economy can drive the development of agricultural industry towards greenery and curb agricultural carbon emissions.(2)The digital economy can further modernize agriculture and achieve the goal of reducing agricultural carbon emissions by promoting the level of agricultural technological innovation.(3)The rapid development of the digital economy can promote the improvement of human capital levels,thereby inhibiting agricultural carbon emissions.Therefore,as an emerging key production factor,the digital economy should accelerate the integration of agriculture and the digital economy,and take the path of low-carbon agriculture development.Secondly,efforts should be made to cultivate versatile talents with the requirements of agricultural industry development and digital technology.Finally,promote agricultural energy conservation and environmental protection technologies,establish farmers'awareness of low-carbon agriculture,and control the increase in agricultural carbon emissions from the source.
