金融发展如何影响非农就业——来自脱贫攻坚期间国家级贫困县的证据

How does financial development affect non-agricultural employment——Evidence from national poverty counties during the period of poverty alleviation

本文考察了金融发展对非农就业的影响及其中介机制,通过建立包含金融发展项的竞争均衡模型,并运用脱贫攻坚期间国家级贫困县的经济社会数据,对金融发展影响非农就业开展理论分析和实证研究。结果显示:金融发展对非农就业存在显著正效应;金融发展能够显著改善贫困县的劳动力利用现状,提高非农就业人口的占比。中介效应检验发现,金融发展可以促进工业企业数量增长、增加区域经济对劳动力的需求,从而对非农就业产生正向影响。

This paper investigates the impact of financial development on non-agricultural employment and its intermediary mechanism.By establishing a competitive equilibrium model which includes financial development items and using the economic and social data of the national poverty-stricken counties during the poverty alleviation period,the effects of financial development on nonagricultural employment are theoretically analyzed and empirically studied.The results show that financial development has a significant positive effect on non-agricultural employment;financial development can significantly improve the status of labor utilization in poor counties and increase the proportion of non-agricultural employment population.The mediation effect test found that financial development can promote the growth of the number of industrial enterprises,increase the demand for labor in the regional economy,resulting in a positive impact on non-agricultural employment.
