摘要
在印象管理理论框架下,本文利用倾向得分匹配后的双重差分模型(PSM-DID),系统评估了公司受到监管处罚后承担社会责任水平的变化,并进一步分析了市场化程度和地区关系文化的差异性对上述两者关系的作用。研究表明,当受到监管处罚后,公司承担社会责任的水平会显著提升;进一步研究发现,当公司处于市场化水平高、关系文化薄弱的地区,其社会责任承担水平增加更为明显。
Based on the impression management theory,this research applies PSM-DID(Propensity Score Matching Difference in Difference)model to analyze the impacts of fraud regulations on corporate social responsibility systematically and then further analyze the influences which are made by the differences of regional marketization and GuanXi culture.The results show that there is a significant increase in the level of corporate social responsibility after being caught of fraud.Moreover,when corporations are in areas with high marketization and weak GuanXi culture,its level of corporate social responsibility will increase more significantly.
