摘要
近年來,我比較關注現存於日本、韓國以及越南等東亞國家和地區的漢文佛教文獻,隨着所見文獻的增多,我逐漸意識到這批保存於域外的漢文佛教文獻對於中國佛教研究的價值與意義。尤其在日本,漢文佛教文獻的現存數量極爲可觀,甚至不乏中國本土已佚,而僅存於日本的文獻,可以爲研究中國佛教提供不可替代的史料資源。
Chongjun崇俊studied Buddhism from Zhizhou智周,who can be traced back to the lineage of the School of Cittamatra or Consciousness-Only唯識學of Xuanzang玄奘,Kuiji窺基and Huizhao惠沼and had certain historical significance on the development of the School of Consciousness-Only in China.The Tomb-Pogoda Inscription of the Deceased Grand Master Chongjun of the Chanzhi Temple of the Tang(Tang Chanzhisi Gudadefashi Chongjun Taming《唐禪智寺故大德法師崇俊塔銘》)is the only biographical source of Chongjun.For a long time,next to nothing was known about Chongjun’s life due to the lack of sources.But the emergence of this inscription and other related materials provide access to unveil many aspects of his life,including his birth and death year,hometown,the lineage of school,activities,works and disciples such as Faqing法清.The examination of this inscription can certainly contribute to the study of the life of monks in the Tang唐dynasty and related areas.
