The Buddhist Association of China(BAC)is a patriotic religious group and religious affairs organization that unites Buddhists of all ethnic groups in China.One of its responsibilities is to carry out religious work,and its Department of Religious Affairs specifically undertakes that work.The religious work aims at guiding and coordinating nationwide Buddhist activities,adhering to the direction of adapting Buddhism to the Chinese context(佛教中国化).
