Over hundreds of years,Yao people cultural and religious classics have been disseminated worldwide from the Chinese mountain villages through the migration of the Yao people, and found their places,as hand-written books discovered in the mountain ethnic villages in Southeast Asia,in the collections of well-known libraries, museums and universities of the world, thus becoming a global memory resource, which presents a magnificent world dissemination, collection and research history of the cultural heritage of a Chinese mountain people. This is not only an important perspective for the studies of Diaspora groups,a new field to explore the migration and cultural history of Chinese ethnic minorities overseas, but also an exemplary case offered by an oriental ethnic minority for the study of global memory literatures, which can promote mutual appreciations between the East and the West.
