Pelvic Abscess:Clinical Analysis of 33 Cases

本文回顾性复习我院1970年1月至1981年12月间收治的盆腔脓肿33例,着重对近十年来盆腔脓肿的发生原因,诊断及处理进行分析。

We have made a retrospective study of 33 cases of pelvic abscess in department of Obstetrics and Gynecology,Tianjin Medical College Affiliated Hospital,from Jan.1,1970 to Dec.31,1981.This study presents a clinical and laboratory analysis of women patients with pelvic abscess.It was emphasized that surgical intervention should be done at the right time.As to the extent of operation,total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy should be performed.In this article,we also discussed that wound infection and fistula formation are related to the time of and the sort of operation performed.
