Matching passenger traffic with market resources in high-speed railway can guarantee the sustainable development of the railway transportation system.By analyzing the components of high-speed railway passenger transportation market,this paper reveals the closed-loop feedback path among subsystems,analyzes the coupling coordination mechanism of high-speed railway passenger transportation market,constructs the evaluation index system of subsystem development level,and puts forward the calculation method of coupling coordination degree.Case study is carried out with Jinan Railway Group.The research results show that the highspeed railway passenger transportation market has transformed from slightly-imbalanced to wellcoordinated,and its coupling coordination can fully reflect the system coordination level,help to identify the limiting factors that hinder the sustainable development of the system.This study provides the theoretical basis for designing passenger transportation product,distributing capacity resource and facilitating efficient allocation.
