柯林武德进步观念评析

A Comment on Collingwood’s Idea of Progress

进步观念是柯林武德哲学体系中的核心观念,同时,柯林武德进步观念也是西方自近代以来进步观念系谱中的重要一环。柯林武德进步观念虽然是建立在以往进步观念的基础之上,但是,柯林武德进步观念以其鲜明的特征与以往的进步观念存在明显区别,在某种程度上重塑了进步观念的内涵。而在两种进步观念不同的背后,是各自所依据的自然观念存在区别。第二次世界大战结束之后,曾经盛极一时的思辨历史哲学逐渐走向式微,作为思辨历史哲学核心要素的进步观念一度遭遇冷落。20世纪70年代后随着思辨历史哲学再次回归历史哲学家的视野,对柯林武德进步观念的评析成了深入研究柯林武德历史哲学的必要步骤。这项研究拟从柯林武德进步观念入手,分析柯林武德进步观念形成的背景,评析柯林武德进步观念内涵,分析进步观念所依据的自然观念。

The idea of progress is the core idea in Collingwood’s philosophy system,and at the same time,Collingwood’s idea of progress is also an important part in the genealogy of western progressive idea since modern times.Although Collingwood’s idea of progress is based on the previous idea of progress,it is different from the previous idea of progress because of its distinctive features,and it reshapes the connotation of the idea of progress to some extent.Behind the difference between the two ideas of progress,there are differences in the idea of nature on which they are based.After the end of the Second World War,the speculative philosophy of history that was once flourishing gradually declined.The idea of progress,which was the core element of the speculative philosophy of history,was once neglected.After the 1970s,as the speculative philosophy of history returned to the perspective of historical philosophers again,the evaluation of Collingwood’s idea of progress became a necessary step in the in-depth study of Collingwood’s philosophy of history.This article intends to start with Collingwood’s idea of progress,comments on the connotation of Collingwood’s idea of progress,and analyzes the idea of nature on which the idea of progress is based.
