《续汉书·百官一》太尉掾史属条本注考辨

On Benzhu of Taiwei Yuanshi in Baiguanyi of Xu Hanshu

《续汉书·百官一》太尉掾史属条本注,是关于辟除制度早期形态颇为有限的史料中较早和较为系统者,特别是其中的"或曰"句、"故曰"句,是研究辟除制度的重要史料。对此史料的基础研究,目前似乎还不甚充分,并存在若干疏失。究其根源,既有《汉旧注》作者卫宏对汉初辟除制度认识不甚充分及表述不甚准确等方面的原因,又有研究者未能全面认识《汉旧注》性质,对"或曰"句所针对的对象辨析不明等缘故。通过系列辨析可知,尽管太尉掾史属条本注所引《汉旧注》存在不少问题,但在秦汉之际史料相对较少的情况下,它丰富了学者对汉代掾史选用问题的认知,对辟除制度研究具有独特的史料价值和重要意义。

Benzhu(本注)of Taiwei Yuanshi(太尉掾史)in Baiguanyi of Xu Hanshu(《续汉书·百官一》)was earlier and more systematic historical data that recorded early form of the system of Bichu(辟除),especially the sentences of"huoyue"(或曰)and"guyue"(故曰).Basic research on this issue was probably inadequate,and had omissions and mistakes.The main reasons for this were that the understanding of Hanjiuzhu’s author Wei Hong on the system of Bichu was insufficient and his statements were not very accurate.Moreover,the researchers failed to fully understand the nature of Hanjiuzhu(《汉旧注》)and the analysis on the targeted object of the sentences of"huoyue"was not accurate.Although there were many problems in Benzhu(本注),which were quoted from Hanjiuzhu,it enhanced scholars’understanding on the selection of Yuanshi in the Han dynasty,and had unique historical value and significance for the study of the system of Bichu.
