摘要
在现代交际中,为了避免直截了当的表达给交际双方带来的尴尬和不快,人们常常借助委婉语以谋求理想高效的交际效果。教师通过讲授和解析委婉语的用法及其文化背景知识帮助学生学习和掌握,同时在教学各环节中运用委婉语来潜移默化地引导学生,提高学生的跨文化交际能力。
In modern communication,people always use euphemism in their conversations to avoid embarrassment or unpleasantness brought by straightforward expression and to achieve an ideal and efficient communicative effect.College English teachers are not only supposed to impart euphemism knowledge to students,but also need to set examples by personally using euphemism in their teaching process.Both ways are conducive to improve the intercultural communicative competence of students.
