“The Belt and Road”, Industrial Transfer and Regional Coordination Development

基于新时代区域协调发展的新内涵,本文构建了区域协调发展水平指标,并运用2006—2016年30个省份的面板数据,实证检验了"一带一路"倡议下产业转移对区域协调发展的影响。研究发现:"一带一路"倡议显著增强了产业转移对区域协调发展的影响,尤其是显著提升了转入地区的区域协调发展水平,而对转出地区的影响则较弱;分行业检验结果显示,资本密集型产业向沿线地区转移对提升全国区域协调发展水平的效果最好;多样化集聚是产业转移提高区域协调发展的主要渠道。

Based on the new connotation of coordinated regional development in the new era, this paper constructed the indicators of regional coordinated development level. Then we applied the panel data of 30 provinces from 2006 to 2016 to empirically test the impact of industrial transfer on regional coordinated development under the background of "the Belt and Road". The research found that, "the Belt and Road"initiative had dramatically enhanced the impact of industrial transfer, especially significantly improved the level of regional coordinated development in the transferred areas, while it had exerted a weaker effect in those transfer-out areas.After distinguishing industries, the test revealed that, the transfer of capital-intensive industries to the areas along the route would maximumly raise the level of national regional coordinated development. Finally, diversification agglomeration was the main channel of this positive effect.
