High-Speed Rail Network and Urban Dual Innovation Structure

摘要 基于1999—2017年城市面板数据,运用多时点双重差分模型研究了高铁网络对沿线城市创新结构的影响效应与机理。研究发现,高铁网络促使沿线城市形成了原创水平下降、二次创新水平上升的二元创新结构,高铁网络引发的FDI向沿线城市集聚是城市二元创新结构形成的重要原因,沿线高研发强度的城市更容易形成二元创新结构。政府应避免FDI借助高铁网络向沿线高研发强度城市过度集聚,防止高铁沿线城市在创新结构上形成"铁锈地带"。 Based on the urban panel data from 1999 to 2017,this paper used the multi-point double difference model to study the effect and its mechanism of the high-speed rail network on the urban innovation structure along the route.The results showed that,the high-speed rail network had promoted the cities along the line to form a dual innovation structure,in which the original level decreased and the secondary innovation level rised.And the FDI agglomeration to the cities along the line with the help of high-speed rail network was an important reason for the formation of urban dual innovation structure.Moreover,the cities with high R&D intensity along the line were more likely to form a dual innovation structure.The government should avoid the excessive concentration of FDI to the cities with high R&D intensity through the high-speed rail network,and prevent the cities along the line from forming"rust belt"in the innovation structure.
