摘要 Silicosis is a common occupational disease caused by long-term inhalation of free silica(SiO)-containing dusts, with progressive pulmonary fibrosis as the main lesion, leading eventually to respiratory failure. The formation of fibrosis in the lungs is thought to be preceded by the activation of alveolar macrophages(AM)by SiOthrough molecular signaling pathways, leading to a series of inflammatory reactions, apoptosis of AM,and the stimulation of pulmonary fibrosis[1].Nevertheless.
