Maxine Hong Kingston is the most renowned as well as the most disputable Chinese American writer for her creative and cross-boundary writing between fiction and non-fiction.However,most academic researches and evaluations focus on her first work The Woman Warrior,rather than a comprehensive analysis of her overall works.By taking her life into a writing for more than thirty years,Maxine Hong Kingston gradually transcends from her personal and ethnic depression,resentments and painful struggles in her early works to an ultimate concern for the world and peace with an experimental life writing strategy.This significant transformation,not only reflects Chinese American writers'extraordinary creation,but also promotes a further thinking on the relationship between ethnic writers'traumatic memory and literary expressions.
