Regional Differences and Distributional Dynamics of Internet Level in China:2006~2018

研究目标:评价中国互联网发展水平并考察其地区差距及分布动态演进。研究方法:构造二阶段熵值法拟合互联网发展水平指数,并利用Dagum基尼系数和核密度估计方法考察其空间格局。研究发现:地区间差距是互联网发展差异的主要空间来源;基础设施、信息资源和产业应用则是其主要结构来源;东部地区互联网发展水平的空间动态演变呈高-低集聚模式且存在负向空间溢出效应,中部地区长期保持在中高水平且存在正向溢出效应,西部地区集中分布于中低水平且具有负向溢出效应,东北地区则呈空间分化态势。研究创新:构造二阶段熵值法面向产业应用等方面测度中国互联网发展水平指数,并采用扩展的分布动态模型分析其动态演进。研究价值:从空间和结构演变视角提出缩小互联网发展水平地区差距的对策建议。

Research Objectives:To evaluate the composite level of internet and the dynamic evolution of regional gap and distribution in China.Research Methods:Using two-stage entropy evaluation method,Dagum Gini coefficient,and spatial dynamic kernel density estimation to evaluate provincial IDCI and to investigate the evolution of spatial differences.Research Findings:The between-region differences contribute the most for the whole gap of internet level,while infrastructure,information resources,and industrial applications are the main sources from the perspective of structure.The kernel results show that the eastern region presents high-low agglomeration mode with negative spillover effects,and that the central region has positive spillover effects while the west has negative spillover.Research Innovations:The internet level is measured by using two-stage entropy method,and the differential evolution is further considered with spatial dynamic kernel density estimation.Research Value:This paper puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to narrow the gap of internet level between regions.
