《四库全书总目》杂家类《公孙龙子》笺证

《四库全书总目》杂家类有《公孙龙子》提要一则,对其作者、内容、著述评析及注本进行了介绍、评价。其中不少观点源自前人,作者予以笺疏;未尽之处,予以补充;有不确切处,予以辩证。《公孙龙子》卷数,有“一卷”“十四篇”之说。名称,有《公孙子》《辨言》《守白论》别称。作者,战国时应有两公孙龙,一是孔子弟子;一为平原君门客、辩者公孙龙,为《公孙龙子》的作者。公孙龙的字,可能不详,也有可能字“子秉”或“子石”。四库本所收的谢注《公孙龙子》,注者极大可能不是谢希深,原因有三:其一,明清谢注本刊刻不少,然并未题“谢希深注”字样;其二,序与注之间前后矛盾;其三,注者可能是陈嗣古、贾大隐。

There is an abstract of Gongsun Longzi in Si Ku Quan Shu Zong Mu Zajia Category,which introduces and evaluates its author,content,review and commentary.Many of these views are derived from predecessors,and the author will review them;if not exhausted,they will be supplemented;if there are inaccuracies,they will be corrected.Regarding the number of volumes of Gongsun Longzi,there is a saying that it has“one volume”and“fourteen chapters”.This book has three nicknames,such as Gongsun Zi,Bian Yan,Shou Bai Lun.Regarding the author of this book,there should be two Gongsun Longs in the Warring States Period,one is a student of Confucius,and the other is a gentry of Pingyuan Jun,debate,the author of Gongsun Long Zi.Gongsunlong's nickname may not be known,or it may be“Zibing”or“Zishi”.The commentator of Gongsun Longzi collected by Si Ku Quan Shu is probably not Xie Xishen.There are three reasons.First,in the Ming and Qing Dynasties,there are many Xie's notes on Gongsun Longzi,but it does not have the words“Xie Xishen's Note”.Second is the contradiction between the preface and the annotation.Third,the commenters may be Chen Sigu and Jia Dayin.
