摘要
在利用经传、史籍等传世文献考证地理沿革、地名变迁的途径之外,我们还可以通过搜集、考释、研究有关的字书、韵书、训诂书等小学书中的相关地理信息和材料,对古代地名或地理变迁进行推考,且通常会有一些收获,这不失为一种可行的办法。今从"邛成"和"鄋瞒"两个古地名的例证出发,尝试采用字书进行古地理、古地名的研究,希望能够为历史地理——特别是早期历史地理——的研究提供新的参考。
In addition to using the handed-down documents such as classics and historical books to study the evolution of geography and the change of place names,we can also infer ancient place names or geographical changes by collecting,interpreting,researching the relevant geographical information and materials in elementary school books such as dictionaries,rhymes and exegetics,and usually collect some of them.It is a feasible method.Starting from the illustrations of two ancient place names,Qiongcheng and Qiongxue,this paper attempts to study palaeogeography and palaeogeography with calligraphy,hoping to provide a new reference for the study of historical geography,especially early historical geography.
