This paper analyzes the Chinese animation and Tangshan shadow play,and expounds the necessity of introducing Tangshan shadow play into the animation industry.In order to promote animation industry and the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage of Tangshan shadow play,this paper has highlighted historical themes,cultural icons and figures in Tangshan shadow plays.
