砂质海床上离岸海缆最小埋深的确定方法

摘要 海上光缆和电缆故障常常导致重大经济损失。保护海缆免受损坏的最有效方法是将其埋在海床中,但目前有关埋深的设计方法有待深入研究。通过分析砂质海床上海床的普遍冲刷、沙波移动和船锚入侵对离岸海缆安全埋深的影响,研究了汕头塘边湾内的光缆破坏的原因。结果表明,海缆工程设计中应该满足的必要条件:普遍冲刷和沙波波谷的行进将使得海缆的原有埋深变小,变小后的埋深必须仍大于代表性船锚的贯入深度。提出的砂质海床上离岸海缆埋深的计算方法为未来砂质海床上离岸海缆工程设计、施工、维护提供科学依据。 Nowadays society relies on communication of offshore optical cables and cables,and the failures of these submarine cables often lead to significant economic losses.The most effective way to protect submarine cables is to bury them in the seabed.However,how to decide a proper burial depth needs further study.This paper analyzes the influence of general scour,sand wave movement and ship anchor penetration on the burial depth of offshore submarine cables on sandy seabed,and the necessary conditions for safety burial.It is found that general scour and sand wave trough would reduce the original buried depth,and then the reduced buried depth must still be greater than the penetration depth of representative ship anchor.The calculation method of buried depth of offshore submarine cables on sandy seabed is put forward,and the cause of optical cable damage in Tangbian Bay of Shantou is analyzed.The finding is helpful for the design,construction and maintenance of offshore submarine cable engineering on sandy seabed in the future.
