借用来自日本全国各地的木材打造的庆典空间该设施为2020年东京奥运会和残奥会而建,主要由互动交流空间和仪式空间构成。本项目致力于通过在结构框架和外墙等适当的位置使用木材,向全世界传播日本的木材文化。我们从日本各地的地方政府借来所需的木材后,组装成临时建筑。奥运结束后再将建筑拆解,并将这些木材归还给各个地方政府便于其再次用于各种用途。这是一次全日本范围内木材可持续循环利用的实践。

A festival space created with timber borrowed from all over Japan This facility was built for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games and consists mainly of interactive communication spaces and ceremonial spaces.The aim was to use various species of wood in appropriate uses,such as in the structural frames and exterior walls,and to convey Japan's wood culture to the world.The wood used is borrowed from local governments across Japan,assembled as temporary structures,dismantled after the tournament,returned to each local government,and subsequently reused for various purposes.It was a Japan-wide exercise in the sustainable recycling of timber.
