In the evolution of the international"old and new world"game,geographical indications has formed different protection systems in terms of origin and geographical indications,which has a far-reaching impact on the protection systems of geographical indications in China.China’s decentralized geographical indication management system and compound protection model have objectively formed the diversity of geographical name resource rights protection,which has intensified the geographical indication rights and registered trademark rights conflict,commodity trademarks and certification trademarks,collective trademarks conflict,and the separation of ownership and use right of geographical indication conflict.All of these have weakened the function of geographical indications.Positioning geographical indication rights as a new type of intellectual property rights and constructing special systems such as geographical indication registration system,coexistence system,right system and relief system will effectively eliminate the right conflicts in the geographical indication field and promote the logical return of geographical indication systems.
