中药玉米须的现代药理研究及临床应用进展

Progress in modern pharmacological research and clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine corn silk

在中草药盛行的明朝,玉米及其各部分的药用价值不断被发掘,其中,玉米须的有效成分复杂,药食功效兼备,丰富了我国传统医学的内涵,对后世中医药发展起到了一定推动作用。文献记载,玉米须有利尿、泄热、平肝、利胆、宽肠下气等功用;现代药理研究证实,玉米须及其有效成分有抗炎、抗氧化、降血糖、降血压、抗肿瘤等效用。在临床中,玉米须也被广泛应用于临床各科,且有广阔的开发利用前景。

In the Ming Dynasty when Chinese herbal medicine was prevalent,the medicinal value of corn and its various parts werecontinuously explored,among which,the effective components of corn silk were complex and had both medical and food effects,whichenriched the connotation of traditional Chinese medicine and played a certain role in promoting the development of traditional Chinesemedicine in later generations.According to the literatures,corn silk has the functions of diuresis,heat relief,calming liver,cholereticaction,broadening intestines and lowering Qi,etc.Modern pharmacological research has confirmed that corn silk and its active ingredientshave anti-inflammatory,antioxidant,hypoglycemic,hypotensive,anti-tumor effects and so on.In clinical practice,corn silk is also widelyused in various clinical departments,and has a broad prospect of development and utilization.
