从嘉靖时期万寿宝塔的捐建看辽藩与沙市市镇经济

A Perspective of the Relationship between Liao Seigniors and the Shashi Economy from the Construction of Wanshou Pagoda in Jiajing Period

明代辽藩在荆州的活动与地方经济的发展密切相关。嘉靖时期,辽王朱宪?倡建万寿宝塔,参与捐建的信士不止有宗室成员,还有卫所、僧道和商旅,他们至少来自一个京师(南京)、九省四十个府(州),涉及地域极广。万寿宝塔的捐建者与辽藩的经商网络有着千丝万缕的联系,宝塔捐建一事不仅可以折射出明代中后期沙市市镇经济逐渐繁荣的图景,而且可以一窥宗藩与地方社会的复杂关系。

The Liao Seigniors’activitives in Jingzhou in Ming Dynasty is closely related to the development of local town economy.In Jiajing period,the last local king Zhu Xianjie initiated the construction of wanshou pagoda,the people who involved in this project were not only imperial clan members but also local officials,monks and taoists,they came from at least 40 governments(states)of one capital(Nanjing)and nine provinces,which covered a wide area.These people had a relationship with the Liao Seigniors’business network.The construction of pagoda can not only reflect the economical prosperity of Shashi town in the midst and late Ming Dynasty,but also the complex relationship between imperial clan and local society.
