Financial Literacy as A Contemporary Virtue for the Student

立德树人之德是指德性,是人性的优秀发挥状态。财经素养是今天中国教育需要培养的时代德性。财经素养教育通过帮助学生从劳动的视角理解人性以及人性之平等性、不平等性,理解社会共同体特征及其发展过程中公平与效率的关系,理解中国的义利观和新中国"三步走"战略,以其独特的主题融合德育的各方面的价值和内容,与其他课程教学一起殊途同归地履行立德树人的教育宗旨。

Education for strengthening the virtue is to help the student to nurture their outstanding state of human nature. Financial literacy is the contemporary quality that education needs to cultivate today. Financial literacy education helps students to understand human nature with its inequality and equality from the perspective of labor, to understand the characteristics of social communities and the relationship between fairness and efficiency in their development process, to understand China’s concept of righteousness and interests, and China’s "three-step" strategy. With its unique theme, it integrates the values and contents of all aspects of moral education and fulfils the educational purpose of strengthening human virtues along with other courses teaching.
