摘要
在多元文化交融发展的时代背景下,培养学生的跨文化能力已成为教育界关注的焦点。英语教师自身的跨文化教学认知与行为,对大学生跨文化能力的培养至关重要。调查结果显示,当前高职院校英语教师普遍存在对跨文化能力内涵的理解模糊、跨文化教学认知不足、跨文化敏感度较差,以及教学认知与实际行为不一致等问题。解决这些问题,提升英语教师的跨文化认知水平及其教学能力,需要强化育人理念,增强跨文化教育意识;优化教师培训,提升教师跨文化认知;鼓励教学研究,拓宽跨文化认知空间;注重教学反思,缓解跨文化教学焦虑。
In the era of integrated development of multi-culture,the cultivation of the students’cross-cultural competence has become the focus of the education.English teachers’own cross-cultural teaching cognition and behavior play a crucial role in the development of college students’cross-cultural competence.As indicated in a survey,today’s English teachers at higher vocational colleges are generally troubled with such problems as vague understanding of the connotation of cross-cultural competence,insufficient cognition of cross-cultural teaching,poor sensitivity of cross-culture,and inconsistency between teaching cognition and practice.To solve these problems and improve the English teachers’cross-cultural cognition and teaching capability,it is essential for the English teachers to strengthen the concept of cultivation and enhance their awareness of cross-cultural education,optimize teachers’training and improve their cross-cultural cognition,encourage teaching research and broaden their cross-cultural views,focus on teaching reflection and relieve their anxiety of cross-cultural teaching.
