新中国罪犯改造体系从提出到完善,经历了一个不断实践和理论升华的过程。在不同时期只有构建与之相适应的罪犯改造体系,才能更好地满足监狱工作和罪犯改造的实际需要。以"五大改造"为根本的罪犯改造体系为新时代监狱工作发展指明了方向,提出了具体路径,也为罪犯改造提出了新的要求。完善以"五大改造"为根本的罪犯改造体系,关键在于充分发挥政治改造的统领作用、监管改造的关键作用、教育改造的核心作用、文化改造的基础作用和劳动改造的手段作用。

The criminal rehabilitation mechanism in New China has gone through a continuous evolution in both theory and practice from its proposal to completion.In different periods of time,it is necessary to establish a corresponding criminal rehabilitation mechanism to better meet the actual needs of prison work and criminal correction.The criminal rehabilitation mechanism on the basis of Five Major Corrections has defined the orientation for the prison work in the new era,proposed specific access,and put forward new requirements for the correction of offenders.The key to improving the criminal rehabilitation mechanism on the basis of Five Major Corrections is to make full use of the leading role of political correction,as well as the critical role of supervisory correction,the core role of reeducational correction,the basic role of cultural correction,and the means role of labor correction.
