This paper introduces the development process,measures and achievements of the discipline construction of Shandong Academy of Agricultural Machinery Sciences,as well as the existing problems.Combined with the typical practices of other similar research institutes,it puts forward suggestions for further discipline construction,in order to provide reference for the discipline construction of the agricultural machinery research institutes.
