From Technology of the Self to the Practice of Everyday Life Analyzing the Theoretical Discourses of Wandering Behavior in Architecture

漫步作为一种日常生活实践,对于研究当今高密度建成环境中的步行体验具有重要意义。同时,漫步作为一种自我技术,在20世纪批判理论话语中也扮演着重要的角色。文章以漫步的空间体验规律作为考察对象,通过对批判理论中围绕大都市漫步而展开的论述进行梳理和解析,揭示出漫步行为的复杂内核,包括漫步行为的体验本质、空间场所激发漫步行为的内驱力,以及漫步行为对城市空间的时空重构机制。文章还提出了对当代漫步行为研究进行拓展的潜在方向。

Wandering,as a practice of everyday life,is important to the study of walking experience in today's high-density built environments.Meanwhile,wandering as a self-relied technology also plays an important role in the critical theoretical discourse of the 20th century.The article examines the mechanism of the spatial experience of wandering by reviewing and analyzing the discourses about wandering in metropolises in critical theories.It reveals the complex nature of wandering behavior,including the experiential mechanism,the internal driving force of wandering in the built environment,and the spatio-temporal reconstruction mechanism of the built environment by wandering behavior.The article finally proposes potential directions that research on wandering behavior can go in contemporary architectural discourse.
