This article works around the concept of landform and reviews the Longquan Mountain Observatory project within the framework of landform architecture theory that has evolved since the 1990s.It delves into the interconnected aspects of nature, the human body, and events, revealing how architecture reimagines topographical form to create discrete narratives within continuous spatial structures, thus destabilizing the relationship between form and function. The project bridges the gap between the binary notions of the continuous and the discrete, presenting a novel perspective on interpreting the curvilinear form in architecture.
