古时候,有一个国王在路中间放了一块大石头。然后他自己藏了起来,看是否有人会把大石头挪开。一些很有钱的商人和官员过来了,但他们只是绕着石头走了过去。许多人大声责怪国王没有使道路畅通,但是没有一个人想办法把石头挪开。接着,一个农夫走来了,挑着一担蔬菜。走到石头跟前时,他放下担子,设法把石头搬到路边。他拖呀,推呀,忙了好一阵后终于成功了。在农夫把蔬菜担捡起来准备挑的时候,他注意到原先放石头的路面上有个钱包。
In ancient times,a king had a big rock placed on a roadway.Then he hid himself and watched to see if anyone would remove the huge rock.Some of the king’s rich businessmen and officials came by and simply walked around it.Many loudly blamed the king for not keeping the roads clear,but none did anything about getting the stone out of the way.
