摘要
重庆中国三峡博物馆前身为1951年成立的西南博物院,1955年因西南大区撤销更名为重庆市博物馆,2000年为承担三峡文物保护工程大量珍贵文物的抢救、展示和研究工作,经国务院办公厅批准设立重庆中国三峡博物馆。
The Chongqing China Three Gorges Museum's collection of Tibetan manuscripts from Dunhuang features Sukhavativyuha Sutra,which is a manuscript previously owned by Master Hsin Tao and produced when Dunhuang was under the governing of Tubo.This article gives an introduction to Sukhavativyuha Sutra,studies the life of Master Hsin Tao and the provenance of this manuscript.It also makes a comparative analysis on the different translations and versions of Sukhavativyuha Sutra.
