Centering on"multilingual+"project with the objective of fostering excellent international talents,Shanghai International Studies University has been actively engaged in promoting the quality of undergraduates’and graduates’employment.As of August 25,2018,the overall employment rate of the undergraduate and master graduates of Shanghai Foreign Studies University in 2018 has reached 97.5%.The major organs enrolling graduates are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,the Ministry of Commerce or other central government agencies,Xinhua News Agency or other state institutions,national and local political and legal institutes,China Telecom Corporation,China Road and Bridge Engineering Co.,Ltd.as well as other large stateowned enterprises,Huawei.Technology Co.,Ltd.,Unilever(China)Co.,Ltd.Shanghai Branch and other well-known enterprises.Their employment Characteristics are embodied in following aspects:most students either go abroad for further study or work or seek employment in provinces along the"Belt and Road"or"Yangtze River Economic Belt";minority students have more opportunities to get employed;students have broad access to various fields.
