Snail和E-钙黏蛋白在近端及远端早期胃癌中的表达差异及其对早期胃癌患者预后的影响

The differential expressions of Snail and E-cadherin in proximal and distal early-gastric carcinoma and their roles as prognostic markers for EGC

目的探讨Snail和E-钙黏蛋白(E-cadherin)在早期胃癌(EGC)中表达的临床价值。方法将46例早期胃癌患者分为两组:近端早期胃癌(发生于胃上1/3的早期胃癌)患者和远端早期胃癌(发生于胃下2/3的早期胃癌)患者。通过免疫组织化学染色评估EGCs患者组织中Snail和E-cadherin蛋白的表达,并分析了Snail和E-cadherin蛋白表达情况与EGC患者临床和病理特征的关系。结果Snail和E-cadherin蛋白在早期胃癌中的高表达率较远期胃癌高(Snail:76.9%vs.23.1%,E-cadherin:66.7%vs.33.0%),差异均有统计学意义(P<0.05),且Snail蛋白的表达与E-cadherin蛋白呈正相关(P<0.05)。Snail和E-cadherin蛋白高表达是早期胃癌患者的高危因素。结论Snail和E-cadherin蛋白在早期胃癌患者肿瘤进展中起着重要作用,可作为预测早期胃癌患者预后的有效指标。

Objective The study was aimed to investigate the clinical value of Snail and E-cadherin expressions in early-gastric carcinoma(EGC).Methods Tissue samples were obtained from 46 cases of EGCs which included two groups of people:patients with proximal EGCs and distal EGCs.The expressions of Snail and E-cadherin proteins in the tissues of EGCs patients were determined by immunohistochemical staining.The association between expressions of Snail and E-cadherin proteins and clinical and pathological features of EGC patients was analyzed.Results High level expression of Snail or E-cadherin in proximal EGCs had higher rates than distal EGCs.In addition,expression of Snail was positively correlated with the expression of E-cadherin.Patients with high Snail expression or E-cadherin expression had significantly higher risk,as compared to the patients with low Snail or E-cadherin.Conclusion The present study indicated that Snail and E-cadherin might played an important role in tumor progression of EGCs,thus they could serve as effective prognostic markers for patients with EGC.
