Starting cleverly from five key words,the book Keywords of Japanese Culture analyzes the aesthetic thoughts of different social subjects such as Japanese singers,poets of Japanese haiku,and monks,and the concept of impermanence behind them.The author believes that fully understanding the“personality”of Japanese culture can help to better communicate with other cultures,and by discussing Nishida Kitaro’s theory of Japanese culture,he further emphasizes the importance of cross-cultural exchanges on the basis of respecting cultural diversity.
