“连带与抗衡——近代中国人留日精神史”工作坊

受到甲午战败、日俄战争中日本取胜和1905年清廷废除科举制的刺激,中国掀起赴日留学热潮。这第一代留日群体对推动中国历史进程做出了巨大贡献。严安生所著《灵台无计逃神矢:近代中国人留日精神史》一书对留日学生的精神史作了深入探讨。2018年6月25日,与会学者围绕严安生所著该书展开了讨论。

Stimulated by the defeat of the Sino-Japanese Warin 1895,the victory of Japan in the Japanese-Russian War and the abolition of the imperial examination system in the Qing Dynasty in 1905,Chinese set off a wave of studying in Japan.The first generation of overseas studentsin Japan made a great contribution to the China’s historical process.Yan Ansheng’s book the Soul no way to flee:the Spiritual History of Modern Chinese overseas students in Japan explores the spiritual history of Chinese students in Japan.A seminar was held to discuss the book in June 25,2018.
