摘要
1导论条件句表达了一个命题。这个命题的是两个其他命题的函项(function),然而却不是真值函项(truth function)。我也许知道这两个命题"Willie Mays played in the American League"和"Willie Mays hit four hundred"的真值,但却可能不知道命题"Mays would have hit four hundred if he had played in the American League"的真值。
