Understanding Human-Machine Dialogue:Implications for Role Orientation,Trust relationship,and Interpersonal Communication

机器的主体性正在涌现,从工具性向社交性演进的过程,改变了传统以人类为中心的传播模式。本研究采用深度访谈法,分别对智能语音助手和闲聊式聊天机器人用户进行半结构式访谈。研究从人机对话的形式切入,探讨人机互动关系中智能机器人的角色定位、信任关系以及对人际交往的影响。研究发现机器的拟人化属性是角色奠定的基础,用户对机器的角色定位能够减少互动的不确定性。自我表露行为是建立人机信任关系的催化剂,双方的自我表露有助于模糊人机边界意识,但身体的离席仍是制约其深度发展的藩篱。人机关系看似为摆脱社交恐惧提供一剂解药,并试图替代人际交往,但回归真实的人际交往才有利于规避数字时代的社会化危机。未来人机之间可能会建立一种新型的“混合”关系,甚至重塑人际传播秩序。

The subjectivity of machines is emerging,evolving from a utilitarian to a social orientation,thereby reshaping traditional human-centered communication paradigm.This study employs in-depth interviews to conduct semi-structured interviews with users of intelligent voice assistants and chatbots.The research delves into the form of human-machine dialogue,exploring the role orientation of intelligent robots,trust relationships,and their impact on interpersonal communication within the human-machine interaction paradigm.The study reveals that the anthropomorphic attributes of machines serve as the foundation of role orientation,reducing uncertainty in interactions.Self-disclosure behaviors act as catalysts for establishing trust in human-machine relationships,fostering a blurring of the human-machine boundary.Nevertheless,physical absence remains a limiting factor constraining the deepening of relationships.Human-machine relationships may appear as a panacea for alleviating social anxieties and an attempt to substitute for interpersonal communication but a return to genuine human interactions is essential for mitigating the social crisis of the digital age.In the future,a novel form of a“hybrid”relationship may be forged between humans and machines,potentially reshaping the interpersonal communication order.
