能源网、交通网、信息网:作为媒介的网络型基础设施与三网融合

Network-based Infrastructure as Media:Energy,Transportation and Information(ETI)Networks Integration

以能源网、交通网、信息网为代表的“网络型基础设施”,体现了媒介的“居中状态”以及在人与人、人与物、物与物之间搭建的普遍联系。作为媒介的网络型基础设施形态与属性各异:电网作为能源网的代表驱动其他基础设施运行,让不可见的电显形并承载着人类文明的现代性想象;交通与传播同脉同源,交通网就是跨越空间、建构意义的传播网;信息网交融着现实世界与虚拟世界,不仅成为国家治理环节中的主导力量,而且深度卷入了我们的现实生活。未来,三网将加速走向融合,发展成为与人类共生共存的基础设施综合体,构筑“万物互联”的新型媒介化社会生态。

“Network-based infrastructure”represented by energy network,transportation network and information network reflects more of the medium status of the media,and showcases the extensive connection among people,things and their interlinkages.When viewed as a medium,network-based infrastructure can take on different forms and features.Power grids,as a typical form of energy network,power up the operation of other infrastructure via invisible electricity and thus expand the imagination of human civilization towards modernity.Transportation and communication are of the same origin.Transportation network is also a communication network spanning over space with a constructive meaning.Information network blends the real world and virtual world.It not only has become a leading force in national governance,but also is deeply intertwined with our real life.In the future,Energy,Transportation and Information(ETI)Networks Integration will develop into a comprehensive infrastructure system that co-exist with human beings,and build a new media-based social ecology of“all things connected”.
