Geolocation is Anchor:Geolocation Posting and Urban Spatial Production

数字城市地图成为现代城市生活中不可或缺的基础设施,在各类适地性媒介中,地理位置打卡作为新兴的空间叙事手段,打破了资本对地理信息系统的霸权,为平民话语提供了参与城市空间生产的途径。通过对24名17~35岁青年的访谈,研究发现,地理位置打卡激活了人与地点互动的社会空间,使得城市公共空间向文明空间转变,在此过程中,地点从物理意义上的建筑实体转换为具有文化意涵的符号与锚记。依据三重勾连理论,基于表征技术与信息场景的勾连、个人叙事与公共地点的勾连、网络空间自我与身体移动轨迹的勾连分析显示,青年用户利用地理位置打卡参与文化建构,挑战数字地图系统中的既定体制与资本话语权,进而增强了智慧城市文明空间的互动性与流动性。

Urban digital maps have become an indispensable infrastructure in modern urban life.Among the various locative media,geo-tagging as an emerging means of spatial narrative,breaks the hegemony of capital over GIS and provides a way for civilian discourse to participate in the production of urban civilization.Based on interview research conducted with a group of 24 young individuals aged 17 to 35,researchers find that geo-tagging activates the social space of interaction between individuals and locations,leading to the transformation of urban public spaces into civilized spaces.Throughout this process,the notion of a location transitions from being a mere physical architectural entity to a symbol imbued with cultural significance and a point of reference.Based on the analysis of triple articulation,which encompasses the connection between representation technology and information scenes,personal narratives and public places,and the connection between online self and online self and physical mobility trajectories.It is evident that young users engage in cultural construction through the utilization of geolocation check-ins.This engagement challenges the established structures and dominant discourses within digital mapping systems,thereby enhancing the interactivity and fluidity of the intelligent city’s civilized space.
