秦川迢递:明代陕西递运所的空间分布与职能辨析

Research on the Delivery Office in Shaanxi Province in the Ming Dynasty

对明代陕西递运所的数量、空间分布和职能进行考证分析,发现明代陕西先后设置递运所137处,空间分布上与陕西“内通三边四镇”的重要军事地位相契合。就陕西地区而言,递运所并非以往学者所认为的那样以运输粮食为主要职责,实际上主要负责转送饷银、军器物料、朝贡使臣、茶叶、囚徒及已故官员家属等。另外,《明会典》只收录设有大使一职的递运所,大量军站及由驿丞兼管者均不予记载,因此并不能真实地反映递运所的设置状况。

According to the research on the delivery office in Shaanxi Province in the Ming Dynasty,it was found that 137offices were set up during the period.In terms of spatial distribution,it corresponds to the important military position of"three sides and four towns within Shaanxi".The delivery office did not take the transportation of grain as the main task,but mainly undertook the transfer of military materials,tributary ambassadors,tea,prisoners and the families of deceased officials.In addition,the"Ming Hui Dian"only includes the delivery office with the ambassador's post.A large number of military stations and those who are concurrently controlled by the post deputy are not recorded,so it does not reflect the actual situation of the setting of the delivery office.
